Semi-frameless fencing is typically made up off 10mm glass supported by aluminium posts which are mounted to the ground between the glass panels. They have a preformed channel or recess that the glass panels slide into. Posts then can be fixed directly into concrete floors or tiles, where the concrete is deep enough beneath the tiles. For properties requiring the posts to be placed on lawns or garden beds, we pour a concrete footing (usually about 600mm deep) into the space, and affix the posts to the concrete footing. The glass is then slotted in and sealed to the post with specific rubber seals that prevent the glass from rattling and sliding within the post.
The aluminium posts used for semi-frameless can also be powder-coated to suit any colour scheme, using the Dulux colour chart. Also you can have the posts in an anodized aluminium finish to imitate a stainless steel finish. If required, posts can also be installed in stainless steel or powder-coated steel, but these options have become less popular due to the cost effectiveness and corrosion resistance of aluminium.
